Buccaneers' Kenny Bell: Impresses on Day 1 of camp

Bell's performance on Day 1 of training camp was praised by head coach Dirk Koetter, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

Analysis:

The second-year speedster missed all of his rookie campaign with a hamstring injury, but has impressed throughout OTAs and mini-camps this offseason. Bell is one of several players competing for Tampa's third receiver job, and brings an array of physical tools to the table. He had those on display Thursday, including on a ball he snagged on a crisp slant route against offseason acquisition Brent Grimes. His Day 1 effort certainly caught the eye of Koetter, leading him to remark that Bell "...got off to a good start. Kenny definitely flashes. He ... picked up right where he left off."
