The New York Giants will have three veterans start training camp on the physically unable to perform list, but wide receiver Victor Cruz won't be among them.

Cruz, who's missed nearly 1 1/2 years due to various leg injuries, underwent his physical Thursday and is set to take part in the club's first session of training camp Friday, according to multiple reports.

The 29-year-old said he was confident he'd be ready to go for camp last week, but after a series of setbacks delaying his return, skepticism remained about his health.

Defensive tackle Damon Harrison (knee), linebacker J.T. Thomas (hamstring), and defensive tackle Jay Bromley (ankle) were the three players placed on the PUP list.

All can be activated off it at any point of the offseason.
