NFL hasn't scheduled PED interview with Steelers' Harrison

The NFL has yet to schedule an interview with Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison about his alleged PED use reported by Al-Jazeera, his agent claims.

Harrison previously posted a letter from the league informing him of an interview scheduled for July 28 as part of their investigation into the report, which claimed PED use by Harrison and other prominent NFL players.

"In order to schedule an interview, they would have to schedule it through the NFLPA, not through James or me," Harrison's agent, Bill Parise, told Ed Bouchette from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "We’ve been following the NFLPA lead throughout, and nothing’s scheduled that I’m aware of."

NFLPA spokesman Carl Francis confirmed Parise's statement, saying that as of Wednesday afternoon no interview had been scheduled.

Harrison, 38, is scheduled to arrive at Steelers training camp located at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania on Thursday.

He has denied any drug use and filed an affidavit stating so. He has also stated he would only participate in an interview if it was hosted at his home and commissioner Roger Goodell attends.
