Dolphins' Arian Foster: Could make his mark in the passing game

Foster (Achilles) is expected to be a big part of the passing game out of the backfield, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

Analysis:

How much Foster will contribute to Miami this season will depend on how well is Achilles has healed and whether or not he has lost a step. He will need to pass a conditioning test Friday before participating in camp. Head coach Adam Gase is a big believer in Foster's ability to catch the ball out of the backfield even comparing his route tree to that of a wide receiver. Jay Ajayi still goes into training camp atop the RB depth chart, but if Foster proves to be completely recovered from his injury, it would seem that he could go into Week 1 as the starter.
