Cardinals' Tyrann Mathieu: Placed on PUP list
Mathieu (torn ACL) will start training camp on the PUP list, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.
Analysis:
Recovering from a torn ACL suffered in Week 16 last season, Mathieu never figured to be ready for the beginning of training camp. He hopes to be available for Week 1, but he's also hinted at a cautious approach, having previously struggled to regain his form after suffering a torn ACL in his other knee in 2013.
