Packers' Jordy Nelson: Lands on PUP list
The Packers placed Nelson (knee) on the PUP list Monday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis:
After players reported to Green Bay and those injured underwent initial examinations, Nelson won't be on the field Tuesday for the first practice of training camp. The decision doesn't come as a surprise, as he only recently reached 11 months since sustaining a torn ACL last preseason. Once the Packers deem his right knee ready for increased activity, his activation from the PUP list likely won't be far behind.
