The Washington Redskins announced Monday they've waived safety Kyshoen Jarrett with a failed physical designation.

Jarrett started six games for the Redskins last season as a rookie, making 58 tackles, four pass deflections, and one forced fumble.

The 23-year-old suffered a shoulder injury in the 2015 regular-season finale against the Dallas Cowboys that resulted in a nerve damage issue.

Jarrett has reportedly seen multiple specialists in hopes of recovering from the injury.

The Redskins will enter camp with six players at safety, including David Bruton Jr., Will Blackmon, Su'a Cravens, and Duke Ihenacho.
