Washington Redskins pass-rusher Junior Galette will miss the 2016 season after suffering a torn Achilles tendon, NFL Network's Rand Getlin reports.

Galette posted a video on Twitter on Monday that appears to show the moment of injury:

Released by the New Orleans Saints last offseason amid domestic violence allegations, Galette signed with the Redskins but tore his Achilles in training camp and missed the 2015 season.

Washington brought him back on a one-year deal this spring, and reports suggested he looked explosive in offseason workouts.

This year's injury is to Galette's other Achilles tendon, a source told Pro Football Talk, but the result is the same. Galette will likely head to free agency after missing two entire seasons.
