Aldon Smith: 'Not me' in video of apparent drug use

Oakland Raiders pass-rusher Aldon Smith responded Monday to the spread of a video that appears to show him smoking what looks like a joint:

The video was posted on Periscope to the account of a user called "ravenga." Other videos posted by the user feature someone who looks exactly like Smith and who appears to have the same tattoos:

Smith's (or someone else's) face doesn't appear in the apparent drug video, but someone is heard saying "They don't know it's me. It's not like I put 'Aldon Smith.'"

Then the video cuts off.

Smith is currently serving an indefinite suspension for multiple violations of the NFL's substance abuse policy and is not eligible to apply for reinstatement until after the 2016 season. The league is reportedly investigating the video the determine if Smith may have committed a further violation.
