NFL determines Manning didn't use HGH
The NFL completed a seven-month investigation into allegations against Peyton Manning and determined that he did not use HGH nor any other performance-enhancing drugs, the league announced Monday.
The NFL says it found "no credible evidence" that Manning was provided with or used any PEDs.
The allegations of drug use were made in a documentary by Al Jazeera America. Manning was accused of receiving PEDs via his wife.
Both Manning and his wife fully cooperated with the investigation, the NFL stated.
Manning announced his retirement this offseason, shortly after winning Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos.
Investigations into allegations that other NFL players - including Green Bay Packers linebackers Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison - also used HGH are ongoing.
