4 dead in crash involving Cowboys tour bus

The Dallas Cowboys tour bus was involved in an accident Sunday in Arizona that caused multiple fatalities, reports Jonathan Cisowski and Brittany Edney from LasVegasNow.com and confirmed by authorities.

The accident occurred about 50 miles south of Las Vegas when the bus struck a van, causing at least four deaths.

No Cowboys players, coaches, or cheerleaders were on the bus. The bus contained a videographer, Cowboys mascot, team website writer Michael Spagnola, and a driver, none of whom were injured, reports Nathan O'Neal, Jami Seymore and Marvin Clemons from 3News Las Vegas.

The bus was headed to a fan event at GameWorks in Las Vegas and scheduled to proceed to Oxnard, California for Cowboys training camp.

The cause of the accident hasn't been reported.
