The Detroit Lions will work out free-agent quarterback Jimmy Clausen on Monday, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Clausen, who spent the 2015 season with the Baltimore Ravens, recently worked out for the Washington Redskins. He had 555 passing yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions through two starts last season.

The 28-year-old is entering his seventh NFL season, with 14 total starts under his belt. He was the third quarterback drafted in 2010 behind Sam Bradford and Tim Tebow.

The Lions are expected to start Matt Stafford at quarterback this season with Dan Orlovsky and rookie Jake Rudock as the depth pass-throwers on the roster.
