Report: Eagles bringing back Bethel-Thompson

The Philadelphia Eagles are expected to sign free-agent quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, a source told Adam Caplan of ESPN.

It'll be Bethel-Thompson's second stint with the Eagles after he was signed by the club in February and then released in May.

With Sam Bradford, Chase Daniel, and Carson Wentz on the roster, it's likely Bethel-Thompson is being brought in to act as a camp arm.

Philadelphia's training camp opens for rookies Sunday, with veterans joining them Wednesday.
