Free-agent defensive end Greg Hardy spent the last two days visiting with, and working out for the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, citing sources.

The team is not planning to sign Hardy at this time, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Jaguars have been considering Hardy as an option since the spring, according to MMQB's Albert Breer.

It had previously been reported in mid-May that no teams were interested in Hardy's services.

The soon-to-be 28-year-old has attempted to revamp his negative image after being arrested for assaulting and threatening his ex-girlfriend by undergoing counseling this offseason. He was released by the Dallas Cowboys following the 2015 season after contributing six sacks through 12 games in his only season with the team.

With the addition of Malik Jackson through free agency and the debut of 2015 first-round pick Dante Fowler Jr., the Jaguars have already made several improvements to their defensive line this offseason.

If the team were to sign Hardy, the Jags would be risking heavy criticism from fans, media, and potentially even team members.
