Texans' Richard Leonard: Waived-injured by Houston

Leonard (hamstring) was waived-injured by the Texans, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Leonard is now exposed to the waiver process. If unclaimed by another team, Leonard will revert to Houston's injured reserve list. By placing the undrafted free agent cornerback on waived-injured, the Texans free up a spot on the 90-man training camp roster to sign another player, which they did by signing undrafted rookie defensive tackle Ra'Zahn Howard.
