Despite holding him out of previous offseason workouts in hopes of landing a trade, the Los Angeles Rams are planning to bring quarterback Nick Foles to training camp, reports Vincent Bonsignore of the Los Angeles Dailys News.

The team will continue to search for a trade partner, but will likely have to wait until a quarterback vacancy presents itself on another team.

Head coach Jeff Fisher confirmed in early June that Foles hadn't taken part in offseason workouts since the NFL Draft, where the team selected quarterback Jared Goff first overall. Fisher said that he had been in contact with Foles and that they were "trying to work things out."

The Rams plan to start camp on July 30 with Case Keenum as their No. 1 quarterback ahead of Goff.

Foles threw for 2,052 yards with seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 11 starts last season.
