Campbell: 'There's no reason why' Cardinals can't win Super Bowl

After coming within one win of Super Bowl 50, Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell doesn't see any reason to think his team won't go further this season.

"I think we’ve been working really hard," Campbell told SiriusXM NFL Radio on Tuesday. "We have a whole lot of talent and coaching’s good, so if we take care of small things and we execute, there’s no reason why we can’t win it."

Campbell, an eight-year veteran, has faith in his coaching staff, led by Bruce Arians, and his quarterback, Carson Palmer.

Palmer got his first career postseason victory last season after 13 NFL seasons. Nonetheless, Campbell is confident the 36-year-old quarterback is capable of leading the Cards to the promise land.

"Carson’s a great quarterback," said Campbell. "He’s very smart, puts a lot of time into it and he’s very accurate. I feel like the outside world puts a lot of pressure on him, which naturally is going to create some more pressure probably in his own head. But I know Carson. He’s very well prepared, very hungry and there’s no doubt in my mind that he’s capable of winning us a championship.

"He’s a very good quarterback and he approaches the game the right way. And I’d really like to win a championship for him this year."
