Falcons' Mohamed Sanu: Building chemistry with Matt Ryan
Sanu has impressed Falcons' quarterback Matt Ryan with the strength of his hands during offseason workouts.
Analysis:
Sanu has occasionally struggled with drops through his first four seasons, but is aiming for a breakout campaign after signing a five-year contract with the Falcons in March. With star teammate Julio Jones surely commanding the bulk of opposing defenses' attention in the passing game, Sanu should have plenty of opportunities to capitalize on single coverage underneath as Atlanta's new No. 2 wideout. Although the 26-year-old Sanu has only reached the 50-catch, 500-yard plateau once so far, his offseason work with a Pro Bowl-caliber passer like Ryan should ease his transition into a new offense this season.
