The Denver Broncos are scheduled to talk with Von Miller and his representatives about a long-term contract on Friday, ESPN's Ed Werder reports.

Werder adds that the Broncos are now willing to guarantee a third year at an earlier date after they were reportedly only willing to guarantee two years in previous negotiations.

Due to being franchise tagged, the deadline for Miller to sign a new deal is July 15. After that, Miller and the Broncos would have to wait until after the 2016 season to resume negotiations.

Broncos general manager John Elway earlier in the week said that the team is still very interested in signing Miller to a long-term deal.

Miller's representatives were reportedly in contact with the Broncos as recently as the Fourth of July weekend.
