Report: Goodell earned $32M in 2015

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL paid commissioner Roger Goodell $32 million for 2015, according to a tax filing obtained by Daniel Kaplan of Sports Business Journal.

Since the NFL changed its status from a non-profit to a profitable venture, this is the last year Goodell's salary will be on public record.

Goodell earned $34.1 million in compensation for the 2014 calendar year, with a $3.5-million base salary, ESPN's Darren Rovell reported in February.

The commissioner's salary arc reached its highest point in 2012, when he was paid $44.2 million by the NFL.
