DeAndre Hopkins wants a cut of fantasy winnings

Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins helped hundreds, if not thousands, of fantasy football managers win their respective leagues last season, and he wants his cut.

The 24-year-old is still on his rookie contract after recording 1,521 yards and 11 touchdowns in his third year, leading Hopkins to ponder why he has to wait until hitting free agency in 2018 to see some increased financial rewards for his performance.

He took to Twitter Saturday to express his frustrations, but quickly deleted his thoughts after receiving a lack of sympathy from fans and followers.

Apparently, a four-year, $7.6-million rookie contract with a $7.9-million fifth-year option, doesn't quite resonate as underpaid to fantasy players.
