The Houston Texans have agreed to terms with first-round pick wide receiver Will Fuller, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.

Fuller, the 21st overall pick, was the second receiver picked in the 2016 NFL Draft following the Cleveland Browns' selection of Corey Coleman 15th overall.

The 22-year-old receiver is expected to compete with Cecil Shorts and Jaelen Strong for a starting job opposite DeAndre Hopkins in training camp.

Fuller impressed scouts with his speed in college and pre-draft workouts, but faced criticism for a high number of drops in his career at Notre Dame.

He tallied 1,258 yards and 14 touchdowns on 62 catches last season as a junior.
