The decision as to whether Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor will be charged in the sexual assault of a dancer at a strip club is reportedly now in the hands of Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams.

The case has been sent to the D.A.'s office, police commissioner Richard Ross told David Gambacorta of Philadelphia magazine on Thursday.

However, the D.A.'s office refused to confirm that it will now determine the future of the investigation into the incident at a South Philadelphia strip club in early June.

"At this time, we cannot confirm or deny anything," Jennifer Jones, a spokeswoman for the D.A.'s office, told Phil Sheridan of ESPN.

Agholor has professed his innocence, while his teammates, Connor Barwin and Fletcher Cox, both issued statements stating they - despite allegedly being at the club - had no knowledge of what happened.
