Steelers cut kicker Suisham

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Friday the release of placekicker Shaun Suisham with a failed physical designation.

Suisham recently suffered a setback in his recovery from ACL surgery, the team noted.

Suisham tore his ACL is the first game of the 2015 preseason and spent the rest of the season on IR.

Since joining the Steelers in 2010, Suisham has been good on 124 of 141 field goal attempts and hasn't missed an extra point.
