Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is being sued by Texas state senator Royce West over the alleged destruction of a rental property that required more than $60,000 in repairs.

The attorneys in the suit cited "negligent and abusive" treatment of the home that included leaving the property "littered with trash and feces," missing blinds and shutters, cracked windows, and blackened carpeting, Tom Steele of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The lawsuit states that Royce, the home's owner, dealt with "irreparable damage to carpeting, flooring, windows, shutters, and blinds; the presence of animal feces, trash, debris, and personal property inside the residence; and distinct and pervasive odors throughout."

West, a member of a support group of citizens put in place to mentor the (at times) troubled receiver, is seeking damages between $100,000 and $200,000.

Bryant has yet to comment.
