Report: Michael Lombardi leaves role with Patriots

Michael Lombardi is leaving his role as an assistant to the New England Patriots' coaching staff, sources told ESPN's Mike Reiss.
Lombardi was hired by the Patriots in 2013 after serving as Cleveland Browns general manager.
Previously, Lombardi was active in media, working as an analyst for NFL Network from 2008-12 and a freelance writer for Sports Illustrated in 2008.
