Jacksonville Jaguars first-round draft pick Jalen Ramsey says there's no doubt he will recover from meniscus surgery in time for training camp.

"I feel no pain, no swelling," Ramsey told reporters when asked to describe his status right now. "If (reporters) weren't asking me questions about it, honestly I wouldn't know I had surgery."

Ramsey is already running, but isn't participating in football activities. The injury was a setback for the rookie cornerback, certainly, but it isn't the catastrophic event the Jaguars experienced a year ago when first-round pick Dante Fowler tore his ACL at his first practice and missed the entire season.

Ramsey said he can't pinpoint when his injury occurred and didn't want to talk about specific milestones in his recovery, but sounded very confident he'll soon be healthy.

"When training camp comes, I'll definitely be ready," he said.
