The Los Angeles Rams have signed first-overall pick Jared Goff to a reported four-year contract, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The deal is worth a reported $27.9 million with a $18.6 million signing bonus and includes a fifth-year option.

Goff is expected to be the team's starting quarterback heading into the 2016 regular season.

The 21-year-old beat out quarterback Carson Wentz for the first overall selection after a successful career at the University of California, where Goff was a starter for three years.

The Rams also inked rookie deals with the rest of their 2016 draft class including tight ends Tyler Higbee and Temarrick Hemingway, receivers Pharoh Cooper and Mike Thomas, and linebacker Josh Forrest.
