Houston Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler reiterated Monday that he would have made the trip to the White House with the rest of the Denver Broncos organization if not for his commitments to his new team.

While his former teammates and coaches celebrated their Super Bowl 50 victory with a visit to Washington, D.C. on Monday, Osweiler participated in a Texans practice.

"If there was no OTA today, I would have gone to the White House. It would have been a tremendous experience," said Osweiler.

With Osweiler preparing for his first full season as a starter in the NFL following four seasons as Peyton Manning's backup in Denver, he believes he needs every moment available to come to grips with Houston's offense.

"I believe every single practice, every single rep, every single meeting I can get in this new offense is the most important thing," said Osweiler.
