Puff, puff, pass the barbells?

Former NFL running back Ricky Williams plans to open a marijuana-friendly gym in San Francisco, according to the website 420Games.org, which is dedicated to changing perspectives on marijuana by hosting athletic events for pot enthusiasts.

Set to open this fall, the gym will be called Power Plant fitness and will apparently sell branded marijuana edibles and concentrates.

"It won’t be a place to get high and just screw around," Jim McAlpine, co-founder of Power Plant Fitness and founder of 420 Games said. "We are focused on the athletic side, not the cannabis side."

New members of the gym will take a "cannabis performance assessment," McAlpine said in an email to Tech Insider, with the goal of determining the "most optimal ways to consume."
