Bills' Robert Woods: Prominent role awaits?
Woods is healthy and participating fully in OTAs following offseason groin surgery, The Buffalo News reports. "I'm healthy. I got my speed back. So other than that, it's all timing. Be open, stay open, said Woods. "I feel like I can run again."
Analysis:
Woods is also serving as the top receiver in practice while Sammy Watkins begins his recovery from foot surgery. There's a small chance that could carry over into the season if Watkins doesn't heal properly, though everyone seems to initially think Watkins will be back by Week 1. Woods is a very clear No. 2 entering the final season of his current contract, though we'll note once again the Bills lean extra heavy toward the run.
