Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Starts OTAs on positive note
Evans had a beauty of a toe-tapping touchdown catch during Tuesday's opening OTA session, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Analysis:
The third-year receiver was back at full participation to start OTAs, after his voluntary mini-camp participation last month was cut short due to an undisclosed injury. Evans hauled in a short touchdown throw on the right edge of the end zone off a Mike Glennon rollout, tapping his toes on the green before heading out of bounds. The 22-year-old will try to rebound from a 2015 campaign that saw him lead the NFL in drops, despite the fact that he also totaled 1,206 yards on 74 catches.
