Former 12th overall pick Knowshon Moreno has only had six NFL rushing attempts since the first game of the 2014 season, but he's planning to be back on the field next year.

Moreno is currently a free agent after missing the entire 2015 season and finished his 2014 campaign on the injury report with the Miami Dolphins. The running back was hampered by a dislocated elbow before tearing his ACL in his last NFL season.

The 28-year-old was originally drafted by the Denver Broncos, where he spent the first six seasons of his career, including an appearance in Super Bowl XLVIII. Moreno recorded 3,616 yards on 876 attempts with 27 touchdowns through 61 career games, having his only 1,000-yard season in 2013.
