NFL owners voted Tuesday to select Atlanta, Miami, and Los Angeles as the host cities for the Super Bowls to be played in 2019, 2020, and 2021, respectively.

Super Bowl LIII, the 53rd championship game of the modern NFL era, will be played at the as-yet-incomplete Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

The following year, Super Bowl LIV will be played in the Miami Dolphins' renovated stadium, which is expected to be renamed this summer. It will be the sixth Super Bowl played in Miami, with the most recent coming in 2010.

After that, the Super Bowl will return to Los Angeles, home of Super Bowl I, VII, and five subsequent Super Bowls played at Pasadena's Rose Bowl. Super Bowl LV will be played at the Los Angeles Rams' proposed state-of-the-art facility in Inglewood.

Next season's Super Bowl LI was awarded to Houston's NRG Stadium in 2013. In 2014, the league awarded Super Bowl LII to Minnesota's U.S. Bank Stadium, which is set to open this fall.
