Report: Saints to sign Vincent Brown

The New Orleans Saints are set to sign free-agent wide receiver Vincent Brown, a source told ESPN's Adam Caplan.

Brown worked out for the Saints last week, along with other notable free-agent receivers, Hakeem Nicks, Denarius Moore, and Nathan Palmer.

The five-year veteran has struggled to make an impact after a solid season in 2013, in which he caught 41 passes for 472 yards and one touchdown.

Since then, the former third-round pick of the San Diego Chargers has appeared in eight games, producing 140 yards on 13 catches.
