The NFL is reportedly keeping track of Johnny Manziel's activities this offseason.

TMZ Sports reported Monday, that the league is conducting a large scale investigation into the series of incidents the troubled quarterback has recently been involved in.

Manziel's off-field issues dominated his tenure with the Cleveland Browns, and his erratic behavior has continued since his release from the team in March.

Of particular interest to the NFL is Manziel's role in an April car crash.

Manziel was a passenger in a rented Mercedes-Benz that crashed into a light pole. He and the driver fled the scene, but neither were arrested or charged in connection with the incident.

The owner of the vehicle claims $90,000 worth of damage was done to the car and that Manziel offered to replace the vehicle entirely. However, the 23-year-old has yet to fulfill his promise.

Despite not currently being on an NFL roster, Manziel could still face discipline from the league for any or all of his recent off-field incidents, as the NFL holds the power to hand suspensions to unemployed players.

In addition to the recent car accident, Manziel is also under investigation in relation to a pending court case for a domestic violence charge.
