Dolphins' Cameron Wake: Progressing ahead of schedule
Wake (Achilles) is progressing ahead of schedule as he continues to rehab a torn Achilles he suffered last season, according to Dolphins' Executive Vice President Mike Tannenbaum, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
Analysis:
Tannenbaum said in an interview on Friday, "He's (Wake) really exceeded expectations, in terms of where he is and where our doctors thought he would be when he got hurt." Once healthy, the 34-year-old Wake will compete with new additions Mario Williams, Andre Branch, and Jason Jones for playing time, as he is expected to have a smaller role in 2016 compared to past seasons.
