Broncos' Virgil Green: Eyes larger role in 2016

Green believes that it's time for him to "be the guy" in Denver, the team's official site reports

Analysis:

Green was one of Colin Kaepernick's favorite targets in college, but has been mostly used as blocker in Denver. He had an opportunity to become more of a receiving threat in 2015 with the departure of Julius Thomas, but Denver then signed Owen Daniels and drafted Jeff Heuerman in the third round. Daniels is now gone, but Green's role is not any more defined. Herman will return from a knee injury, and while Andy Janovich was drafted to be an in-line blocker, Garrett Graham comes aboard to provide a veteran pass-catcher.
