Cowboys' Terrance Williams: Not worried about contract
Williams intends to let his play speak for itself as he enters the final year of his rookie contract this season, ESPN.com reports.
Analysis:
Williams has developed into a good second-choice wideout opposite Dez Bryant since joining the Cowboys as a third-round pick in 2013. In fact, with Bryant out for much of last season, Williams went on to post career-highs in catches (52) and yards (840), scoring three times as well. That being said, given the Cowboys' bevy of highly-paid offensive players, it remains to be seen whether Williams is regarded as a future investment as well. Regardless, the 26-year-old plans to prove his worth on the field this season, his last with the Cowboys under his current contract.
