Michael Bennett may be unhappy with his current contract, but that doesn't mean he's willing to miss training camp as a means of further stating that point.

The Seattle Seahawks defensive end, who's currently sitting out the offseason program in search of a new deal, indicated Tuesday that his absence won't be stretching into the summer.

"Why wouldn't I be at training camp?" Bennett told ESPN 710, according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times. "I'll see you there for sure."

It's been something of a yearly tradition for Bennett to skip out on early offseason work. The 30-year-old stayed away from team activities last spring before eventually making the decision to report for camp.

While his stellar play continuously gives him a case when it comes to pushing for a new deal, Bennett is still just two seasons into the four-year deal he signed in 2014.
