The Carolina Panthers are content with the in-house options they have to replace their recently-departed superstar cornerback Josh Norman.

After rescinding Norman's franchise tag and allowing him to sign with the Washington Redskins, Carolina used this year's draft to address the position, adding James Bradberry, Daryl Worley, and Zack Sanchez.

While head coach Ron Rivera left open the possibility that his team would add a veteran cornerback later in the offseason, he said the Panthers are comfortable with their three young players.

"I guess if we did do something it would be later on. But right now we're set," Rivera said Saturday, according to Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer. "We're very happy with what we've seen the last two practices with the young guys."

Carolina's scheme means Bradberry, Worley, and Sanchez will have to showcase their ability to play press-man coverage in order to be a viable candidate to start on the outside. However, Rivera said that with restrictions during the opening portion of the offseason, they're currently focused on evaluating their skill sets before training camp opens in July.

"The big part of the technique you get from corners is being able to jam, and you can't do that during OTAs and minicamp," Rivera said. "So what we'll be looking for really is the skill sets."
