Sam Bradford seemed to be over his displeasure with the Philadelphia Eagles upon returning to offseason workouts and rescinding his trade request.

Yet, Bradford and the man who helped bring on his displeasure, first-round pick Carson Wentz, haven't spoken yet.

Wentz said neither quarterback has reached out to one another, but the rookie believes his pending relationship with Bradford "will be great" and "really competitive," according to John Gonzalez of CSNPhilly.com.

It's apparent to Wentz there's an expectation of awkwardness to the situation, but he doesn't agree with that assessment.

"Personally, I don’t think there will be a lot of tension," said Wentz. "People might make it out to be. But I think the coaches and everyone will be on the same page. And I think it will be a good working relationship."

The North Dakota State product seems to be saying everything the Eagles are looking for in a franchise quarterback, and as he's accepted that when he starts is out of his control.

Bradford hasn't spoken to the media since issuing a statement upon his return to the Eagles, but is expected to have his first availability Tuesday.

Both players have been at the Eagles' facility recently, but haven't participated in the same activities.

The Eagles expect Bradford to be their starter heading into training camp with Wentz learning as a backup, but things could change if Bradford isn't willing to communicate with his pending replacement.
