Lions' Brandon Pettigrew: Targeting a return by training camp

Pettigrew (knee) plans to be ready to go by the start of training camp, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official website reports.

Analysis:

Pettigrew suffered a torn ACL in his left knee last December, but he's already seeing good improvement. Considered the team's main blocking tight end prior to the injury, Pettigrew will have to battle with Eric Ebron and Tim Wright for snaps in 2016.
