The Indianapolis Colts agreed to terms Wednesday with their 2016 first-round draft pick, Ryan Kelly.

Terms of the deal weren't released.

Kelly was selected 18th overall out of Alabama after winning the Rimington Trophy, awarded to the nation's best collegiate center. The 22-year-old also helped Alabama capture a national championship in his final season.

During his college career, Kelly developed into a three-year starter and didn't allow a sack in his final two years.

Indianapolis released incumbent starter Khaled Holmes on Monday, freeing up a spot for Kelly in the starting lineup.

He is expected to stabilize an offensive line that surrendered 37 sacks last season.
