Free-agent guard Matt Slauson, who was released by the Chicago Bears on Sunday, is scheduled to visit the San Diego Chargers and Buffalo Bills, reports ESPN's Adam Caplan.

The Bills are interested in moving Slauson to right tackle if he lands with them, according to ESPN's Mike Rodak, as Buffalo has no clear starter at the position.

The 30-year-old would likely be brought in as competition in San Diego, as the team currently has veterans Orlando Franklin and D.J. Fluker manning the two guard spots.

Slauson spent the last three seasons with the Bears, but he became expendable after the team signed Manny Ramirez and interior offensive lineman Ted Larsen in free agency, and drafted Cody Whitehair in the second round.

His play hasn't dropped off, however, and he's still capable of performing like an upper-echelon guard.
