The Buffalo Bills have reached an agreement with left tackle Cordy Glenn on a five-year contract extension, Glenn's agent confirmed on Tuesday.

The deal is worth $65 million with $36 million guaranteed, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The contract makes Glenn the fourth-highest paid offensive tackle in the NFL, and the $26.5 million in guarantees is the second-most all time for the position.

The move was expected after general manager Doug Whaley spoke about extending Glenn, cornerback Stephon Gilmore, and quarterback Tyrod Taylor on Monday.

Glenn was a second-round pick out of Georgia in 2012 and has essentially been a Day 1 starter, holding down the left tackle spot during that time.
