Browns' Andrew Hawkins: Participates in minicamp

Hawkins (concussion) took part in April minicamp, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Analysis:

Hawkins missed eight games due to a pair of concussions last season, ultimately landing on injured reserve for the final two weeks. He should be back in the mix for a key role out of the slot, though the Browns did add possible competition for snaps, selecting five wide receivers in the recent draft. Meanwhile, Robert Griffin and Josh McCown are expected to compete for the starting quarterback job.
