Rams' Case Keenum: Set to provide safety net for Goff

Los Angeles has a glut at quarterback, with the No. 1 overall draft pick joined by Keenum, Nick Foles and 2015 third-rounder Sean Mannion. It appears the team will trade or release Foles, and there don't seem to be any real plans for Mannion. After signing a first-round RFA tender (worth about $3.6 million), Keenum figures to compete with Goff for the starting job, though it may be a competition in name only.
