Harbaugh playfully refutes report Ravens pulled Tunsil off draft board

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

An Adam Schefter ESPN report on Saturday stated the Baltimore Ravens were ready to select Laremy Tunsil with the sixth pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, but pulled him off the board after the release of the bong video on his Twitter account.

Coach John Harbaugh joined the NFL Network during the fifth round and playfully contradicted the report, saying they only pulled the embattled tackle off the draft board once the Miami Dolphins selected him 13th overall.

Ronnie Stanley, the player the Ravens selected at the sixth spot, certainly agrees with Harbaugh, taking to Twitter to dispute the Schefter report.

It certainly wouldn't be flattering to Stanley if the organization were to admit Tunsil was their desired pick, so the fact Harbaugh refuted the report on national television isn't surprising.

Regardless, it seems both Stanley and Tunsil will enter their rookie seasons with a chip on their shoulders. The two teams meet in the upcoming 2016 campaign on Dec. 4 in Baltimore.
