The Raiders selected Washington in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, 143rd overall.

Analysis:

The Texas Tech product comes from a wide open offense that used him in space as both a runner and as a pass catcher. He racked up 1,492 yards on 6.40 yards per carry in 2015 and he also added 41 receptions out of the backfield. Though small in stature at 5-foot-8, he is well built at 204 pounds and he has tremendous lateral agility that helps him evade tacklers in the open field. With the lack of legitimate options behind Latavius Murray in the Raiders' backfield, Washington has a chance to be a sleeper late in deep fantasy leagues thanks to his change-of-pace style and pass-catching ability.
